A.D. sent me the cook-book of Kentucky cuisine the other day, and I’d already made TWO of them!!
Either of them were so delicious! I chose these two because the ingredients they needed were very easy to get here. For instance, for the chicken with veg, you use ‘soy sauce’, red wine vinegar, white wine, sugar and garlic. I didn’t need anything anew. For the Yam Casserole, you need mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, butter, salt, vanilla, and chopped nuts. I often bake cakes and bread, so everything are in my kitchen. However, they are so familiar seasoning to us that these two tasted very close to our ordinary meals!! The Yam Casserole tastes similar to ‘Kurikinton’, hahaha! Tatsu loves it SO much, and he ate its left over for today’s breakfast.
OK! I should try less familiar taste next time!!
See? I’ve read through the book roughly, and I put many stickies on it!!
